Stewart Thomas enters his 13th season with the Lowndes High School baseball program, where he serves as an assistant coach. Thomas also serves as the head softball coach at Lowndes High School. Prior to joining the Vikings staff, he coached five years at McEachern High School and one season at Walton High School.

Thomas played collegiately for two years at Gordon State College and one season at Valdosta State University. He earned his specialist degree from Augusta University. Originally from Dublin, Georgia, Thomas and his wife, Deaven, have three children: Tal, Carlyn, and Simon.

Thomas believes coaches have the power to change lives not only by teaching athletes how to win games, but by showing them how to work hard, overcome adversity, and become better people.
