Taylor Wilkins enters his 10th season with the Lowndes High School baseball program and currently serves as Assistant Head Coach. Before joining the Vikings staff, Wilkins spent 12 years coaching at Tift County High School. A Valdosta native, he played his high school baseball at Lowndes High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University.

Wilkins was named the GHSA Assistant Coach of the Year in 2022 and the NHSBCA Region 3 Assistant Coach of the Year in 2023. He and his wife, Jessie, are proud to be part of the Lowndes community. Wilkins says the most rewarding part of coaching is seeing young athletes grow into adults and having the opportunity to positively impact their lives through sports.
